Victoria
Outreach Worker and Interpreter
Victoria was born and raised in Cambodia where she received her high school diploma and worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Khmer Consultant Engineering cooperation. She migrated to the U.S. and has since been a California resident. As a fluent Khmer speaker, she enrolled into ESL classes to become an interpreter. She has also received certificates of completion from the Domestic Violence Advocate training program with Asian Women’s Shelter and the Direct Support Professionals Program.
Before joining CERI, her academic and work experience includes working and caring for younger children and supporting their development. She also worked as an Ameri-Corp volunteer for USCIS helping immigrants gain US citizenship. Victoria is inspired to be the first in her family to pursue a college degree. She is a passionate advocate for AAPI rights and finds great joy and purpose in serving her elders and supporting young children.
